Oh, i'm excited for you! I recommend starting with So Long, See You Tomorrow -- a very short, incredibly powerful novel.

So many instances in a life when we face our flawed belief in our innocence, our ability to lie to ourselves about our depravities -- when we don’t stand up to for what we know is right. Maxwell’s touch is so light, so subtle, so perfectly cooked.
